Goodbye UTI connected with our team as they moved from living room-based shipping to a fulfillment warehouse. They were well-positioned for major growth with an all-natural product set that offered real, natural relief to customers who want to avoid using antibiotics to treat UTIs.

As we began to dig into their model, we started to see that while the products did work well, the cost per acquisition for clients who needed to treat a single UTI was simply too high for sustainability. Goodbye UTI needed to increase the average lifetime value (LTV) of its customers to be successful.

LTV was increased through a mix of technologies, such as migrating to Shopify, adding a subscription management system, and creating upsell programs that encouraged at-risk customers to move from an ad-hoc treatment approach to a preventative approach. In addition, we adjusted the customer personas to target the underservcd senior and chronic sufferer markets; this delivered a new type of customer that benefited from daily usage to help prevent future UTIs.

Our aggressive content marketing program, coupled with the creation of an educational site, has been instrumental in increasing Goodbye UTI’s customer base. Potential customers can now learn more about the nature of chronic / stubborn UTIs and the risks of undetected UTIs in seniors. The response has been overwhelming, with products receiving hundreds of rave reviews.
